Courthouse Wedding FAQs
Do you know how City Hall works?
Yes — we've shot the Manhattan Marriage Bureau and borough courthouses many times. We know the check-in, the wait, and how quick the ceremony is, so we're ready for every moment.
Can you be our witness?
Happily — we get asked all the time and have done it many times. City Hall needs one witness over 18, so if it's just the two of you, we've got you covered. Just mention it when you book.
Can you photograph inside the ceremony room?
The City Clerk's office allows photos during your ceremony slot, and we're used to working quickly and respectfully within their rules — then we do a full portrait session right after.
Do we get portraits after the ceremony?
Yes — a mini portrait session on the steps and nearby streets or parks is part of every courthouse booking.
How long do you cover?
One to two hours is plenty for the ceremony and portraits. We can extend if you're heading to a celebration afterward.
Can you film it too?
Yes — photo + video as one team, so you leave with stills and a short film.
